Anakao is well known for its huge sand hills, its paradise isolated islands, its marvellous diving spots... it is also known for being a place where accommodation is usually very rustic. it is mainly, indeed, but another option, more comfortable is now available.

For a robinson crusoë stay : longo vezo hotel

• only 8 bungalows spread out on huge sand hills facing the ocean.

• all very simple, built under the model of typical habitat, from local material with thatched roof.

• only 5 of them have en-suite shower room, with solar hot water (to hot by yourself, easy). no running water, shower has to be taken in the "malagasy way", with a kapaoka (small basinet).

In spite of this basic comfort, this place is very nice, and the atmosphere unique, mainly due to the open minded and friendly personality of the owners.

As long as you are ready to this kind of accommodation, we highly recommend this place, if you are looking for something really different, or if you scuba dive : they have the best scuba-diving club of the area.
